Mike and Amanda – wedding

Great time up in Milwaukee. Wedding at the Patowatomi but gaming regulation doesn’t allow for published images so off to the art museum. Always makes for great images . . . even when there is fog!

Girls just wanna have fun!

Jennifer and Ryan – engagement

Saturday, May 29th, 2010

o.k. so everytime Nick is out with his camera he has fun.  And this session was not a disappointment. It was Jennifer’s birthday and we are convinced Ryan had this surprise set up for her.  Check out the middle of this show and you’ll see. Nick just couldn’t stop laughing.

The boys

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

Mike and Sandy took sometime out with their busy schedule to be with their new little men in their lives.  We are so thrilled to be able to photograph yet another important time.   The first “official family photography”

Mandy and Brennan – wedding

Happy 2010 Everyone!

So glad to hear from some of you that you missed the fun blog entries.

o.k.   I admit I have stepped away from this long enough.   But gosh the craziness of the holiday season took us away from it.

Here is an awesome wedding we photographed in Naperville from December.   Mandy and Brennan had so much energy and we loved that they wanted to meet before the wedding.  The holiday lights and the trolley ride made for a great winter night.

Have fun watching the blogshow.

Celebrated their one year anniversary last week. Congrats to Lorn and Toni . . . who happens to be Niki’s sister!

Jeff and Briel – wedding couple

Friday, October 2nd, 2009

Anyone who hires our studio knows we are married. You may not know we are hopeless romantics.  Not lace, frills and puffy stuff but definitely romantics.  Perhaps it is because we are invited to work with so many couples and see how strong love is on their wedding day.  It’s a lot to live up to all the time yet  every wedding day we feel the energy.    Nick and I believe very strongly that a couple should have memories of this moment in time to fall back on when the pressure of  life gets in the way.  It is suppose to be fun and the bonus is the couple gets wonderful images to pass on to their children and grandchildren.

Jeff and Briel are just amazing.  We weren’t fortunate enough to photograph their wedding in June  however they got all dressed up again so that we could help create some great images for them.   For 2 entire days before we photographed the weather was crummy.   Their session day arrived with golden sun as if God knew Jeff and Briel deserved something magical.

Nick and I were discussing things just the other day.   We hope to bring a smile to someone’s face everyday and someone gives it back in return.    Jeff and Briel did just that for us!  and I hope this blog show gives them joy.

What is most wonderful about this couple is their eyes even smile when they look at one another.   Take a look and you’ll see.  (Don’t forget to turn up your speakers.)

I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since we photographed  Matthew’s parents wedding.   He has his mommy’s eyes.
